Abstract Submission Guidelines- Read Before You Begin Everything You Need to Know
Pre-Submission Checklist
Ensure you have the following ready before submission:
• Abstract Title (≤ 20 words)
• Full author names & affiliations
• Structured abstract (Background → Methods → Results → Conclusion)
• Keywords (3–6 terms)
• Figures/photos (optional, PNG/JPG ≤ 2MB)
• Ethical approval (if applicable)
• Optional abstract file (PDF/DOC/DOCX ≤ 5MB)
• Confirmation of co-author consent
Formatting & Submission Guidelines
• Submit your abstract in English only.
• Use structured format: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
• Max word count: 300 words (excluding title & authors).
• Accepted file formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX (≤ 5MB).
• Avoid excessive abbreviations; define them on first use.
• Upload figures separately when required.
Originality, Ethics & Review Policy
• Abstracts must present original, unpublished work.
• Clinical studies must include ethical approval information.
• Duplicate or previously published abstracts will not be reviewed.
• Each submission undergoes scientific committee peer review.
• Acceptance notifications are sent within 24–48 hours.

Rules & Important Notes
• Abstracts must be submitted online or via email.
• Late abstracts will not be reviewed.
• Unlimited submissions allowed; max 5 presentations per author.
• Presenting authors must register before Early Deadline.
• Accepted & registered abstracts appear in the Journal of Neurological Sciences.
• Do not include patient identifiers.
